Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

Surveyor's Office received an application (IOD 18-001) from El Dorado Hills Memory Care LLC, an Oregon Limited Liability Company, for a Pedestrian Access Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 124-140-033, being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. The grant is for a perpetual easement for constructing, reconstructing, repairing, and forever maintaining a public sidewalk.

 

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the dedication.  By utilizing this alternative, the applicant would not be able to meet Condition of Approval #14 as established for PD15-0003.

 

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT

Department of Transportation Division has reviewed said Pedestrian Access Easement and supports the consent to and acceptance of this Offer, subject to the condition that said Pedestrian Access Easement will not be County maintained.

 

CAO RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The Surveyor's Office collects a fee for processing the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication on a time and materials basis.  There is no fiscal impact as a result of the approval of this item.

 

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS

1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on Consent to Grant of Pedestrian Access Easement and Acceptance of Offer.

2) The Clerk of the Board will record the IOD with the signed Consent attached to the back of the document.

3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded document to the Surveyor’s Office.
