Probation Department recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement for Services 118-S1811/FENIX 243 with AutoMon LLC to increase the amount of the contract by $9,922.50 for a total not to exceed amount of $180,409.46 for the term of July 24, 2017 through July 23, 2020; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 118-S1811/FENIX 243, including amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.
FUNDING: General Fund 100%.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Since June of 2006, the Probation Department (Probation) has been contracting with AutoMon, LLC (AutoMon) for a proprietary case management system called Caseload Explorer, which includes modules for adult supervision, juvenile supervision, juvenile detention facilities, and fiscal; licensing; installation; maintenance; escrow; training; customization; and system upgrades.
Since the initial contract with AutoMon, Probation has added services to include product subscription and service of AutoMon’s Ce Connect Licensed Software Products and Modules. These product systems allow for managing drug-testing, providing flexible client reporting, and managing all phases of pretrial.
AutoMon provides software support for its software products. AutoMon has recently completed services for integration of Noble Software Group’s proprietary assessment service with Caseload Explorer and the Ce Connect Products. This professional service, while part of the Scope of the Agreement, was not factored into the original Compensation/Not to Exceed amount of the Agreement.
