Probation Department is respectfully providing proper notice to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the Honorable Suzanne N. Kingsbury of resources needed to meet Probation mandates as set forth in Section 1203.74 of the Penal Code.

Reason for Recommendation:
Pursuant to Section 1203.74 of the Penal Code, notice is respectfully provided to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the presiding Judge of the Superior Court.
It is in the opinion of the Chief Probation Officer of El Dorado County that specific mandates as outlined in the attached letter (09-1091.A.pdf) are unable to be met due to lack of staff and financial resources.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Probation respectfully requests Board to provide resources to meet identified mandates.
