Probation Department recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement for Services 2998 with Julie Wyatt, dba J. Wyatt Consulting, to increase the amount of the contract by $25,302.07 for a total not to exceed amount of $430,302.07;
2) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to extend the term of the agreement an additional two months for a new term of July 14, 2018, to September 13, 2021; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 2998, including amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Since July of 2015, J. Wyatt Consulting (J. Wyatt) has provided consulting services for the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP). Current agreement #2998 with J. Wyatt, as approved by the Board (7/17/18 18-0872 #25), expires July 13, 2021, with a not to exceed amount of $405,000.
Per the CCP budget adopted by the CCP Executive Committee (4/7/21 21-0561), and subsequently accepted by the Board (5/18/21 21-0575 #28), services by an outside consultant will be replaced by a County Administrative Analyst in Fiscal Year 2021/22. Recruitment for this position will open as soon as possible. Since it will be some time before the position is filled, the Chief Administrative Office and Probation wish to amend J. Wyatt’s agreement by two months, until September 13, 2021, and increase the not to exceed amount by $25,302.07, to $430,302.07.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
