Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to acknowledge an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Public Utilities Easements;
2) Acknowledge the Public Utilities Easements on behalf of those public entities that will provide services, subject to the purveyor’s construction standards; and
3) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer of Dedication to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said Offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Surveyor's Office received an application from Mack Donald Dewater, Trustee and Ronnie Jo Dewater, Trustee of the Mack and Ronnie Jo Dewater Family Trust Dated April 21, 1999, for an IOD (IOD 21-0003) for Public Utilities Easements on Assessor’s Parcel Number 070-250-062, and being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. This dedication would provide for Public Utilities Easements on Assessor's Parcel Number 070-250-062.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, no provision would be made for Public Utilities Easements on Assessor’s Parcel Number 070-250-062.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Department of Transportation has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to this Offer.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Surveyor's Office collects a fee for processing the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication on a time and materials basis. There is no fiscal impact as a result of the approval of this item.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on one (1) Consent to Offer of Dedication.
2) The Clerk of the Board will record the IOD with the signed Consent attached to the back of the document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded IOD to the Surveyor’s Office, Attn: Jane McClusky.
