Background: EID had been using the modular as temporary office space at the El Dorado Hills Wastewater Treatment Plant and has offered it to the County since it is no longer required for EID's use.  The Environmental Management Department would use the modular for office space, shower room, records storage, and meeting space.  The department estimates the cost of purchasing and transporting a comparable building to the site at approximately $60,000.   The Department will contract separately for the installation of the building, which is estimated at less than $5,000.  
 
Reason for Recommendation:  Pursuant to Government Code, the Board of Supervisors or designee must accept donations of money or property.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  The donation agreement will be signed by the Purchasing Agent upon approval by County Counsel and the Environmental Management Department will provide for the installation of the modular.
