DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Election Code Sections 10400 et seq. provides for consolidation of a local jurisdiction election with the Statewide Direct Primary Election to conducted by the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters on June 7, 2022.
The Registrar of Voters is the Election Official for local jurisdictions within the County. All jurisdictions have submitted Resolutions requesting their district election be consolidated with the Statewide Direct Primary Election.
ALTERNATIVES
If the consolidation is not approved the Election department would have to conduct five separate elections on June 7, 2022.
