Probation Department recommending the Board:
1) Make findings in accordance with County Ordinance 3.13.030 that it is appropriate to contract with Pro-Line Cleaning Services, Inc, under Agreement 6605 because (A) the provision of these services are more economically and feasibly performed by outside independent contractors at these facilities;
2) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Agreement for Services 6605 with Pro-Line Cleaning Services, Inc., to provide janitorial services for the Probation Department located at 3974 Durock Road, Shingle Springs, Suites 205-211; and for the Community Corrections Center located at 3974 Durock Road, Shingle Springs, Suites 201-204; for the term of August 1, 2022, through July 31, 2025, with a not to exceed amount of $106,968.00; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 6605, including amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.
FUNDING: General Fund (72%) and Public Safety Realignment (28%).

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pro-Line has been providing janitorial services to the County since 2007, including the identified Probation Department (Probation) facilities at Durock Road. The existing agreement with Pro-line expires July 31, 2022.
Under the current recommended Agreement 6605, Pro-Line is contracted to clean Probation located at 3974 Durock Road, Shingle Springs, Suites 205-211; and the Community Corrections Center (CCC) located at 3974 Durock Road, Shingle Springs, Suites 201-204. This agreement includes yearly rate increases. The vendor has indicated it is due to annual wage increases.
ALTERNATIVES
Disapproval of this agreement would require Probation to identify another vendor for janitorial services and develop a contract with that vendor, thereby creating a gap in services.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no change in Net County Cost associated with this Agreement. Sufficient appropriations were included in the approved Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget and will be included in future budgets for the term of the Agreement.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) Obtain the signature of the Chair on two (2) originals of Agreement 6605.
2) Clerk of the Board to return one (1) fully executed Agreement to the Probation Department.
