Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background:   The "Garden Valley Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration" is a traditional event, this marking the 41st year, sponsored by the Garden Valley Community Association.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the parade participants, children, volunteers, and spectators along the course.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.      The Board Clerk to obtain the Chairperson's signature on the Resolution.
2.      The Board Clerk to send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to the Department of Transportation.
3.      The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed on Sunday, July 4, 2010 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for the "Garden Valley Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration" activities.
