Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Net County Cost associated with these Agreements. Budgeted amounts associated with these domestic violence service agreements have been included in the FY 2010-11 budget.

Background: The Health Services Department maintains agreements for services with local domestic violence service providers which are fully funded by County marriage license tax revenue specifically designated to be used to support domestic violence programs and shelters, and payments made by offenders of domestic violence who have been granted probation. The two domestic violence programs in the County of El Dorado (The Center for Violence-Free Relationships, and Womenspace Unlimited) have mutually agreed on the aforementioned funding being equally distributed between their two programs.

Compensation for Services: Monthly payments are made to each Contractor, based upon available fund balance in the special revenue fund established for this program, following receipt of Contractor's monthly reporting (Exhibit A of Agreement).
