Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The total cost of the projects is estimated at $393,080.00, including $55,400.00 for Engineering and Design of the Airport Perimeter Fencing and Gates and $77,600.00 for Engineering, Design and Administration of the Crack and Slurry Seal Project. $373,426.00 of this cost is covered by this FAA grant and the local match of $19,654.00 will come from the Placerville Airport Enterprise Fund.

Background: On July 20, 2010 your Board adopted Resolution 105-2010 acknowledging the Department of Transportation's Director or his designee signing of the application for grant funding for these projects from the FAA. On June 29, 2010 your Board authorized bidding of said project with bids due no later than 2:00 pm on August 2, 2010. The Abstract of Bids was presented to the FAA.
