Sheriff's Department recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign a retroactive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 041-S1111 with the Placer County District Attorney's Office in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for each Fiscal Year for the term July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012 for Placer County Sexual Assault Response Team services.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. This expense has been included in the Sheriff's Department budget.
Reason for Recommendation: This agreement will provide sexual assault services for El Dorado County victims. This MOU is effective retroactive to July 1, 2010. Due to staffing changes the item was never agenized. The agreement is for a two year term ending on June 30, 2012. The total amount for each fiscal year is not to exceed $10,000.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Chair will sign two copies of the MOU. One signed original will be returned to the Sheriff's Fiscal Division.
