Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no fiscal impact. Funds are included in the budget and this amendment does not change the total funding amount.

Background:
On July 1, 2008, the AQMD Board of Directors awarded Funding Agreement (Agreement) No. 010-DMV-08/09-BOS to El Dorado County General Services Department (General Services Department) in the amount of $25,000. This funding was to supplement the State Transportation Improvement Program -Transportation Enhancements (STIP-TE) grant of $295,000, previously awarded to General Services by the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) on February 7, 2008, for engineering and construction of El Dorado Hills SMUD Corridor Class I Bike Path.

On September 29, 2009, the AQMD Board of Directors approved Amendment I to the Agreement, which replaced all references to General Services Department with references to DOT and extended the project completion date by twelve (12) months to December 31, 2010.

The proposed Amendment II extends the project completion date by another twelve (12) months to December 31, 2011.
