Health Services Department recommending the Board receive and file the following reports for special taxes for County Service Areas (CSA) 3 and 7, specific to County of El Dorado ambulance services for Fiscal Year 2009-10:
1) Statement outlining Government Code § 50075.1 (a) specifying the authority under which the County may levy a special tax for ambulance services within CSA's 3 and 7, (b) indicating the purpose for which this tax may be used, (c) identifying the special tax revenue fund in the County of El Dorado and, (d) citing the requirement for annual reporting of the special tax revenue; and
2) Report pursuant to § 50075.3 that identifies the amount of funds collected and expended.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Net County Cost associated with this annual report.
Background: California Government Code § 50075.1 and § 50075.3 require annual reporting of special tax revenue and expenditures within CSA 3 and CSA 7.
Reason for Recommendation: Legislative requirement.
