Background: On September 21, 2010 (Item No. 31), the Board of Supervisors directed the Chief Administrative Officer to exercise her authority under Section 9.47.040 of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code to limit the use of the County-owned skatepark to skateboards only. The Board also directed the Chief Administrative Officer and County Counsel to bring back appropriate amendments to the skatepark ordinance to reflect this action. This item addresses that latter direction by amending appropriate sections of the County Skatepark Ordinance (Chapter 9.47) to remove references to uses other than skateboarding at any County-owned skatepark.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board Clerk to schedule the adoption (Second Reading) of the ordinance for one week from this meeting.
