Reason for Recommendation: In accordance with Government Code Section 54202 and the County's Purchasing Ordinance, the Sheriff's Office advised the Board on August 4, 2009 of this perpetual maintenance agreement administered by the Sheriff for the annual maintenance of a specialized software program used by the Department's Civil Section. The original agreement dates back to 1999. On March 9, 2010, the Board approved Amendment #1. The agreement and amendment #1 provides for the annual fee for software service and maintenance. All parts and sections of the original agreement #282-SO011 and amendment #1 remain in effect and in full force as identified in the amendment. The agreement also continues to be perpetual.

Action to be taken following Board approval: Board will approve continuation of perpetual agreement and Sheriff's office will process annual maintenance payment.
