The newly appointed members of the Youth Commission will be working throughout the year on issues that are significant to youth in our county. They function in an advisory capacity to the board of supervisors and will, on occasion, report their findings to the board. They are also interested in the issues, policy and functions of the board and will gain a great deal of knowledge by attending a regular board meeting alongside their representative.
The Youth Commission for the County of El Dorado would be honored to join the board of supervisors for their morning session on December 7, 2010.
