Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  The Sheriff's Office Armory will receive the funds paid by the retiring employee.
 
Reason for Recommendation: El Dorado County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Harrison requests to purchase his service weapon following his retirement in December 2010.  Because this weapon is the current weapon issued by the Sheriff's Office, the employee will be responsible for the full replacement value of $443.76.
 
The weapon requested to be declared as surplus is:
 
Glock 22; Serial #1ESA331US; County Tag #99789 at a cost of $443.76
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Upon approval of the recommendation, the Sheriff's Office will execute the sale of the duty weapon.
