Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No change. The Agreement is funded by the Federal/State Social Services allocation (85%) with required County match (15%) met primarily with realignment resources. Funds are budgeted for FY 2011-12, and will be included in the County Budget Requests for FY 2012-13 and FY 2013-14

Compensation: Payments are made to Contractor based upon monthly invoicing for actual services performed and approved by DHS and as documented per contract requirements.

Termination: Agreements include the County’s standard Fiscal Considerations termination language as well as a provision for the County to terminate the Agreement without cause in seven (7) calendar days upon written notice.

Background: Pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Sections 16501-16508, the El Dorado County Department of Human Services (DHS) is required to provide services that promote reunification of children and families in the County’s Child Protective Services Program. Progress House provides these mandated services on an “as requested” basis for clients referred by DHS. Agreement for Services 004-S1211 replaces Agreement for Services 510-S0811 with Progress House, which expires on June 30, 2011.
