Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background:  The "Georgetown Founder's Day Event" is an annual craft, food, parade and music fair, sponsored by the Georgetown Rotary Club.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, volunteers and spectators during the fair.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the proposed Resolution for the safety and success of this community event.  No involved agencies objected to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
 1. The Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chairman's signature on the Resolution.
 2. The Clerk of the Board to send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to the
       Department of Transportation.
 3. The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed on Sunday, September 18, 2011,
       from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. for the "Georgetown Founder's Day Event."
