The Commissioners will bring forward and discuss their specific areas of
interest related to activities within the community. The areas of interest
may result in the formation of new committees or additional areas of focus
or projects for existing Commission on Aging committees.
NEW BUSINESS
The Membership Committee recommends re-appointing Tita Bladen as a
Commission on Aging Community Representative to a three (3) term
ending August 2028.
The Commission on Aging will discuss the creation of a Strategic Planning
Committee. If it is determined that a Strategic Planning Committee is
needed for the Commission, the purpose and goals of the committee will
be discussed and commissioners will be appointed to serve on this
committee.
The Commission on Aging will discuss the Board of Supervisors agendas
and meeting minutes to identify topics of interest to El Dorado County's
older adult population.
The Commission will discuss the planned tour of the new South Lake
Tahoe Multi-generational Recreation and Aquatic Center. The tour will be
in conjunction with the September 18, 2025 Commission on Aging meeting
which will be held in South Lake Tahoe.
OPEN FORUM
Open Forum is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Commission on subject
matter that is not on their meeting agenda and within their jurisdiction. Public comments during
Open Forum are limited to three minutes per person. The Commission Chair may limit public
comment during Open Forum.
