from Inyo, 1 youth from Oregon in custody due to warrant

8 intake – 7 release (4 from the West Slope and 4 from SLT)

3/17/25 - Judge Mayberry visited the JTC – no onsite issues and report pending  
Request inspection of JTC by JJDPC – Hurley, Strongman, and Berger scheduled  
inspection for Wednesday, March 26, 2025  
BSCC inspection scheduled for week of April 14, 2025  
Chief Probation Officer (10 minutes) - not in attendance  
Treasurer's Report (5 minutes) - no changes. Hurley will share report electronically  
Leadership Team (10 minutes) - Discussion about Commission members and their  
terms; if they would like to continue on the Commission. Hurley’s term ended in  
February but would like to renew. Currently she is Treasurer and stepped up as Interim  
Chair. She would like to Co-Chair with Guerrero and continue as Treasurer.  
Monterosso and Conway – terms end in August 2025. Berger’s term ends May of 2025.  
Hurley, Monterosso, and Berger would like to continue and renew their term with the  
commission. Guerrero’s term ended in July of 2024 but due to personal reasons,  
Guerrero had to step away from the commission earlier last year and would like to  
finish out his commitment and assume a Co-Chair position to the commission then  
revisit his term renewal at a future meeting. Conway was not in attendance at this  
meeting. Strongman’s term is up in January 2028.  
Outreach/Communication (10 minutes each) Communication: nothing new to report  
DISCUSSION ITEMS  
COPE Youth Action Council Funding Request

Motion to donate $3,500 to the Youth Action Council. Funding for an  
internship/staff position with the Youth Action Council to support their efforts  
with events for at risk youth in El Dorado County.

2. Tallac: donation consideration through Encompass Youth - Team Building trips for  
lowerclassmen returning the following year to build kinship and community. Approx 15  
students attending.  
Invite Amy Jackson with Mt. Tallac HS in South Lake Tahoe to the April JJDPC meeting to  
discuss a possible donation from the JJDPC and how the funds would be utilized or possible  
donation through Encompass Youth.
