AGENDA ITEMS
Hearing to consider Goodson Commercial Kennel Project (Conditional
Use Permit CUP24-0007) to allow the operation of a commercial dog
kennel for up to 15 dogs on property, identified by Assessor’s Parcel
Number 105-260-033, consisting of 5.02 acres, is located on the south
side of Ken Derek Lane, east of the intersection with Gold Hill Road, in the
Placerville area, submitted by Cheryl Goodson; staff recommends the
Zoning Administrator take the following actions:
1) Find the project exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 of the
CEQA Guidelines (Existing Facilities); and
2) Approve Conditional Use Permit CUP24-0007 based on the Findings
and subject to the Conditions of Approval as presented.

Hearing to consider Hasser Spa Project (Minor Use Permit MUP25-0002)
to allow a reduction of a 100-foot riparian setback from the South Fork of
the American River to 58 feet for the permittance of an existing spa and
electrical connection on property, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Number
105-080-008, consisting of 5 acres, is located on the north side of
Petersen Lane, approximately 1,000 feet west of the intersection with
Bassi Road, in the Lotus area, submitted by Christopher Hasser; staff
recommends the Zoning Administrator take the following actions:
1) Determine that pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Existing
Facilities, that the project is categorically exempt; and
2) Approve Minor Use Permit MUP25-0002 based on the Findings, and
subject to the Conditions of Approval as presented.
