The Commission on Aging is advisory to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors. The Commission works with the Director of the Area Agency on Aging on community interests and issues or challenges facing the senior population of El Dorado County. This includes, but is not limited to, developing community centers in strategic areas of the county to make services accessible to all seniors, promoting services that enable seniors to remain in their homes and preventing elder abuse.
