Department of Transportation recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Notice of Acceptance with Consolidated Engineering, Inc., Contract 9966 for the 2026 DOT SLT Maintenance Pavement Rehabilitation Projects on Cedar Ridge Road, Pioneer Trail Frontage Road, Washoan Boulevard, Thunderbird Drive, Southern Pines Drive, Navahoe Drive, E San Bernardino Avenue, San Diego Street, Hopi Avenue, Bellevue Avenue, Scenic Drive, Tahoe Mountain, Mt Diablo Circle, Granite Mountain Circle and Mountain Meadows Drive; and
2) Approve and authorize the Clerk of the Board to release the Payment and Performance Bonds to the Surety upon notification from the Department of Transportation, after the one-year guarantee period.
FUNDING: Transient Occupancy Tax - Measure S (67%) and Road Fund (33%). (No Federal Funds)

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The contract for the 2026 DOT SLT Maintenance Pavement Rehabilitation Project (Project) was approved by the Board on March 10, 2026 (Legistar file 26-0224). The project provided roadway failure repair to designated pavement sections on Cedar Ridge Road, Pioneer Trail Frontage Road, Washoan Boulevard, Thunderbird Drive, Southern Pines Drive, Navahoe Drive, E San Bernardino Avenue, San Diego Street, Hopi Avenue, Bellevue Avenue, Scenic Drive, Tahoe Mountain, Mt Diablo Circle, Granite Mountain Circle and Mountain Meadows Drive. All roadway repairs were completed by Consolidated Engineering Inc. Recordation of the Notice Of Acceptance (NOA) will start legal time frames for guarantees, a lien period, and return of retention monies. Recordation of the NOA will also start the one-year time frame for releasing the Payment and Performance Bonds to the Surety.
