Body

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:

Since 2017, Pro-Line has been providing janitorial services at HHSA’s Behavioral Health offices located at 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe. The Board approved Agreement 7818 with Pro-Line on August 15, 2023 (Legistar file 23-1284). Proposed Agreement 10079 is a renewal agreement with Pro-Line to continue janitorial service at this location.

On May 10, 2024, Procurement and Contracts, a Division of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO), posted a Countywide Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 24-0043 to competitively procure janitorial services. On June 27, 2024, Pro-Line was selected to be placed on the Qualified List based on the competitive evaluation process.

HHSA recommends the Board approve competitively procured Agreement 10079 with Pro-line to ensure continuation of necessary janitorial services at HHSA’s Behavioral Health Office without any service interruption.

ALTERNATIVES:

Should the Board decline to approve this recommendation, HHSA would need to identify another vendor for janitorial services at 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe.
