DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Sheriff’s Office has received a donation from Red Hawk Casino in the amount of $30,268 for a radio repeater system to improve radio communication both inside and outside the casino. The equipment to be purchased with the donated funds includes, but is not limited to the following items:
Repeater - Daniels Electronics VHF high band. Part # Cal-PKJ-VHF 2011 P-25 compatible.
Filter system 2 channel Combiner with REC. filter.
Antennas Telewave D150 146-174 mhz.
Power system main and secondary
Mast or pipe mount
Hardware for placement
Battery back up if needed
Tuffshed Keystn tier 10`12-nat/144
Heating/AC/lighting and electrical
Insulation

FINANCIAL IMPACT
No impact to Net County Cost. This is a donation of funds for purchase of the equipment and installation of a radio repeater. Cost estimates of a Radio Repeater system were budgeted for in FY 2015/16.
