The County will continue to receive annual lease revenue in the amount of $580.00 for a Single Tee Hangar pursuant to Resolution 232-2004. There is no cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.
Background:
The County entered into a Land Use Lease for Hangar Space SP-04 with Collins Family Trust (Lessor) commencing on July 1, 1990 where Lessor has exercised the provisions of their lease agreement and has assigned the use of property at the Placerville Airport to a third party where that agreement (# 222-L0611) commenced on June 1, 2006. The annual rent is current at this time.
Reason for Recommendation:
The Collins Family Trust desires to assign the Lease to William V. Norberg, Golden Foothill LLC., P.O. Box 5090, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 upon approval by your Board as provided in said Lease. The Department of Transportation has no objection to this assignment.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. The Chairman to sign, in duplicate, the Consent of Lessor related to the Assignment and Amendment of Airport Land Use Lease #222-L0611.
2. Clerk of the Board to enter the date of the signature of the Chairman from the Consent of Lessor form on the Assignment and Amendment of Airport Land Use Lease # 222-L0611.
3. Clerk of the Board to return one signed original of the Consent of Lessor with the Assignment and Amendment of Airport Land Use Lease # 222-L0611 to DOT for transmittal to new Lessee.
