Body
RECOMMENDED ACTION:  Planning Commission recommends the Board of Supervisors take the following action:  1.  Accept the addendum to the General Plan EIR/SCH2001-082030 pursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Section 15164, as adequate environmental review for the project; 2.  Find that General Plan Amendment A06-0009 is consistent with the General Plan; and 3.  Approve General Plan Amendment A06-0009 as contained in Exhibit A attached and depicted on the official maps labeled General Plan Map corrections, Sheets 1 through 15, as amended by the removal of numbers 9, 10, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 80, 85, and 86, based on the findings listed on Attachment 1.

Furthermore, Planning staff recommends that the Board make the following correction to number 31 for Assessor's Parcel Number 117-260-61 owned by the Springfield Meadows Community Services District.  Staff intended this item to read "Make all of Assessor's Parcel Number 117-260-61 Open Space" instead of High Density Residential as listed in the attached Tables and Maps.  This was an inadvertent error that was only caught after the Planning Commission hearing of May 24, 2007.

Background: This item was considered by the Planning Commission on May 24, 2007, and unanimously recommended for approval. Input was received from three individuals.  Ray Skinner asked that his property be removed from this group of changes and is included in the recommendation from the Planning Commission.  Art Marinaccio and Cindy Schaefer were also present and made general comments. A letter was received from James and Toni Johnson requesting the Mineral Resource overlay be removed from the Weber Creek Quarry.  As that was not an advertised item, staff recommended against the request. There were no new significant issues discussed other than those in the staff report.
