DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

On September 04, 2024, Legistar File 24-1513, the Zoning Administrator held a public hearing to consider a request for Carson Creek R&D Project (Tentative Parcel Map P22-0009) request to create 16 new parcels from four (4) existing Research and Development zoned parcels on property, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Numbers 117-210-048, 117-210-049, 117-210-050, and 117-210-060, consisting of 64.22 acres, is located approximately 800 feet north of the intersection of Golden Foothill Parkway and Carson Crossing Drive, within the El Dorado Hills Business Park, in the El Dorado Hills area, submitted by Pacific Realty Associates, LP. The Zoning Administrator approved Tentative Parcel Map P22-0009.

 

Timely filed on September 17, 2024, appeal P-A24-0002 was submitted by Concerned Residents of El Dorado Hills Heritage Village represented by George Steed (Attachment A), appealing the Zoning Administrator’s September 04, 2024 approval of the Tentative Parcel Map.

 

Staff’s response to the appeal and conclusions are detailed in the Staff Memo attached as Attachment B.

 

ALTERNATIVES

Approve the appeal submitted by from George Steed, Concerned Residents of El Dorado Hills Heritage Village (P-A24-0002) and overturn the approval of P22-0009 Carson Creek R&D Project with direction to staff to prepare findings of denial based upon Board of Supervisor direction.

An appeal fee of $450.00 has been collected for appeal, P-A24-0002; however, staff costs associated with this appeal exceed the collected fees.
