DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Historically, the Board has engaged outside counsel to assist the Civil Service Commission in order to ensure impartiality. Human Resources would like to extend the current agreement for an additional two years for continued services with this firm.
Per Board Policy C-17, Section 7.11 - Contracts over $100,000, the scope of services and the Consultant's professional qualifications have been reviewed by a representative from outside the Human Resources Department.
