Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Acknowledge and accept an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for a Road Right of Way Easement subject to the condition that it will not be County maintained unless and until it has been accepted into the County maintained road system by Resolution of the Board;
2) Acknowledge and accept a Public Utilities Easement on behalf of those public entities that will provide services, subject to the purveyor’s construction standards; and
3) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer of Dedication and Acceptance of Offer and to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said Offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Surveyor's Office received an application from Stonehenge Springs, a Limited Liability Company, for an IOD (IOD 16-002) for a Road Right of Way Easement and a Public Utility Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 054-402-18, and being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. This dedication would provide for a future driveway encroachment from Assessor's Parcel Number 054-431-14 onto Faith Lane.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, no provision would be made for providing a possible future driveway encroachment from Assessor's Parcel Number 054-431-14 onto Faith Lane.
OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
Community Development Agency, Transportation Division, has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to and acceptance of this Offer, subject to the condition that said Road Right of Way Easement will not be County maintained unless and until it has been accepted into the County maintained road system by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors.

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact or Net County Cost associated with this item.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on the Consent to Offer of Dedication and Acceptance of Offer.
2) The Clerk of the Board will record the IOD with the signed Consent attached to the back of the document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded IOD to the Surveyor’s Office.
