Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Acknowledge and consent to the making of an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for a Road Right of Way (In Fee) on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-047, located in El Dorado Hills, District 1; and
2) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to the Making of an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for the Road Right of Way (In Fee) and to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said Offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Surveyor's Office received an application from Kailash C. Chaudhary, Trustee and Gisela D. M. Chaudhary, Trustee of the Kailash and Gisela Chaudhary Revocable Trust UTD August 25, 2004, for a Road Right of Way (In Fee) on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-047, and being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. This IOD is in support of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication. By utilizing this alternative, the County or developers would be unable to meet improvement obligations of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Department of Transportation has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to the making of an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication.
CAO RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact or Net County Cost associated with this item.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on the Consent to the Making of an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication.
2) The Clerk of the Board will record the IOD with the signed Consent attached to the back of the document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded IOD to the Surveyor’s Office.
