DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Health and Human Services agency currently occupies leased space at 768 Pleasant Valley Road, commonly referred to as the Victory Mine Building. The building is primarily used for the Behavioral Health Division of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). The County has been advised that the building is going up for sale. Facilities and HHSA are seeking Board direction regarding the possible purchase of the building to help lower long-term lease costs.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could direct the Facilities Division not to pursue negotiations regarding the Victory Mine building.
