Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
No fiscal impact and there are no net County costs associated with this item.

Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has received Irrevocable Offers of Dedication (IOD) for drainage and pedestrian easements, situated adjacent to White Rock Road along the westerly boundary of Parcel 2 of the Parcel Map filed in the office of the El Dorado County Recorder in Book 50 of Parcel Maps at page 103, and being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached offers. The subject parcel is also identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 117-180-13. Said dedications are made by Longs Drug Stores California, LLC, a California limited liability company, and are necessary to meet the commercial grading requirements for development. The subject property location lies south of White Rock Road and west of Latrobe Road, in El Dorado Hills.

The DOT’s staff has reviewed said offers and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign the Resolutions acknowledging but rejecting said offers for drainage and pedestrian easements at this time. Authorization for recording of said offers is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) Said Resolutions and Irrevocable Offers of Dedication will be recorded by the Board Clerk.
2) Copies of the recorded Resolutions and IODs will be sent to the property owner by DOT Staff.
