DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On February 7, 2024, the Purchasing Agent executed Agreement for Services 8415 with Mother Lode Van & Storage, Inc. for a three-year term with a total compensation amount not to exceed $200,000. Services provided under this agreement include as-needed moving services and surplus collection and disposal services.
Due to the increased demand for as-needed moving services, and surplus collection and disposal services, only $20,000 remains available and the demand for these services is increasing. The current term expires on February 17, 2027. Amendment I increases compensation by $70,000 based on projected usage through the remainder of the contract term, bringing the total compensation amount to a new total not to exceed $270,000.
