DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

Request to consider Conditional Use Permit CUP24-0007/Goodson Commercial Kennel submitted by Cheryl Goodson to allow the operation of a commercial dog kennel for up to 15 dogs. The property, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Number 105-260-033, consisting of 5.02 acres, is located on the south side of Ken Derek Lane, east of the intersection with Gold Hill Road, in the Placerville area, Supervisorial District 4.  (County Planner: Spencer McKenna, 530-621-5821) (Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines)
