Hearing to consider Goodson Commercial Kennel Project (Conditional Use Permit CUP24-0007) to allow the operation of a commercial dog kennel for up to 15 dogs on property, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Number 105-260-033, consisting of 5.02 acres, is located on the south side of Ken Derek Lane, east of the intersection with Gold Hill Road, in the Placerville area, submitted by Cheryl Goodson; staff recommends the Zoning Administrator take the following actions:
1) Find the project exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines (Existing Facilities); and
2) Approve Conditional Use Permit CUP24-0007 based on the Findings and subject to the Conditions of Approval as presented.
