DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On October 12, 2021, with Legistar item 21-1590, the Board approved the use of $130,000 of the Caldor Fire Relief Designation to fund the El Dorado and Georgetown
Divide Resource Conservation Districts Caldor Fire recovery efforts ($65,000 each). The agreements with the Resource Conversation Districts have been executed, and a budget transfer is now being brought to the Board to move $130,000 from the Caldor Fire Relief Designation to Non-Departmental expenses to allow for payment of the agreements.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to approve the budget transfer or offer alternative methods to fund the agreements.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the budget transfer will reduce the Caldor Fire Relief Designation by $130,000 leaving over three million dollars in the designation. Once processed, the Chief Administrative Office will process payment of $65,000 each to the El Dorado and Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation Districts.

If approved, obtain the Chair’s signature on the budget transfer form and forward it to the Chief Administrative Office for processing.
