DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Amendments to the attached bylaws as shown in Attachment A were discussed by the Coloma Lotus Advisory Committee. The bylaws as shown in Attachment B were approved by the Coloma Lotus Advisory Committee on August 7, 2025.
The bylaws were submitted to County Counsel for review. The bylaws attached as shown in Attachment B are being recommended for approval by the Board.
A summary of the changes is listed below:
1) Reviewed and Adopted Date updated to October 2, 2025.
2) Article VI - Subcommittees updated to include language allowing the Chair of the Coloma Lotus Advisory Committee to determine the need for and assign Committee members to a sub-committee upon approval by the Committee.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could decide not to approve the amended bylaws as presented.
