DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
For the past several years, El Dorado Union High School District (EDUHSD) has contracted with the Sheriff’s Office to provide a law enforcement presence at various school functions including school dances, sporting events, and other various activities that attract a large crowd of people. The presence of law enforcement is to promote public safety, enhance community support, and deter any illegal activity, all while protecting those in attendance.
EDUHSD will be charged $95.50 per hour per Deputy Sheriff and $118.84 per hour per Sergeant during the 2025/2026 school year effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
