Background
Staff is presenting an update to the Board of Supervisors on its various projects and programs, as well as seeking direction for future strategies. This update includes a brief discussion of economic development, including collaboration with relevant economic development stakeholders; the County's current programs, including Promotions and other contracts; an economic update from the Center for Strategic Economic Research; and finally a discussion of intended programs and request for direction from the Board for 2015 Economic Development programmatic action.
