DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION:
Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign a Proclamation recognizing May 2015 as "Mental Health Month" in El Dorado County.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:
The month of May has historically been named Mental Health Month both nationally and in the State of California. Since 2009, the Board of Supervisors has approved a Proclamation naming May as Mental Health Month.
