Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No fiscal impact or net County cost.

Background: The "5K Walk/Run for Hunger" is a charity event sponsored by the Food Bank of El Dorado County, and winds its way through the El Dorado Hills Business Park. The Rolling Hills Church (800 White Rock Road, El Dorado Hills) is the start/finish for this event.

Road closures requested are: Windfield Way (between White Rock Road and Golden Foothill Parkway); Windplay Drive (between Windfield Way and Suncast Lane); Suncast Lane (between Windplay Drive and Latrobe Road/Gate 2); Golden Foothills Parkway (between Latrobe Road/Gate 1 and Robert J. Matthews Parkway); Sandstone Drive (at Golden Foothill Parkway); Hawks Flight Court (at Golden Foothill Parkway); Sunglow Court (at Suncast Lane) and Cypress Point Court (at Golden Foothill Parkway).

Requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, volunteers, and spectators along the course.

Reason for Recommendation: The Department of Transportation is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event. A letter of support has been received from the El Dorado Hills Business Park Association's Board of Directors. Other involved agencies have made no objection to this closure.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. The Board Clerk to obtain the Chairperson's signature on the Resolution.
