DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Board Policy B-2, Fee Waiving, was established on November 8, 1988, and last revised on April 14, 2019. Policy B-2 requires minor revisions to make the language consistent throughout the policy.
The redline and clean versions of the policy are attached. The policy has been reviewed by Department Heads and County Counsel.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could disprove or request changes to the revised B-2 Policy.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no direct financial impact to updating this policy. This policy allows for the waiver of fees in certain cases, which results in a reduction in revenue for affected departments.
