DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The County Surveyor's Office received an application from Ronald A. Ahlers and Jeannie P. Ahlers, for an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD 17-001), for Road Right-of-Way and Public Utility Easement, in order to meet Condition #29 of TM 05-1359 R/La Caille Estates Subdivision, imposed by the El Dorado County Department of Transportation. The condition requires the developer to obtain this Irrevocable Offer Of Dedication which is an offer is for an easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 070-072-96, and being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached IOD. Authorization for recording said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050. The parcel is identified as Tract 1 of Record of Survey, Book 24 at Page 19, at the Recorders Office, El Dorado County.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, the conditions for TM 05-1395R would remain unmet.

The Development of Transportation, has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to and acceptance of this offer.

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on one (1) CONSENT TO OFFER OF DEDICATION.
2) The Clerk will record the IOD with the CONSENT TO OFFER OF DEDICATION , attached to the back of the document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded IOD to Karen Hyder in the Surveyor’s Office.
