Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no Net County Cost associated with this agenda item. The Transportation Division (Transportation) programmed $300,000 of the CTA 12 022 grant funds within the 2013 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) as part of the Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program section and within the Fiscal Year (FY) 13/14 budget and will program the remaining $50,000 in the subsequent FY 14/15 budget.

Background
At the June 18, 2013 Board of Supervisors (Board) meeting, the Board adopted Resolution 076-2013 to support the request for Transportation regarding site improvement grant funding from the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) related to the Tahoe Basin Environmental Improvement Program stating that the County supports the assurances of the Program; the County agrees to implement the Project in a manner consistent with the Program's objectives; the County agrees to manage and maintain the project over its twenty (20) year life; and the County supports the request to the CTC for funding the proposed work in the Tahoe Basin. Pursuant to this adoption, Transportation submitted a Site Improvement grant request to the CTC for the Sawmill 2B Bike Path and Erosion Control Project (Project) (CIP No. 95192) in the amount of $350,000.
