Title: Transportation Department recommending the following pertaining to maintenance procurements for County Service Area Zones of Benefits: (1) Waive the requirement of Part V, Section C-1 of the Policy and Procedure Guidelines for Creation and Administration of Zones of Benefit within a County Service Area, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 2, 1987; and (2) Allow County Service Area Zone of Benefit projects to be bid in accordance with Chapter 3.14 of the County Ordinance Code, Public Projects Informal Bidding Procedures, noting approval of this recommendation will continue procedures used by said department since 1993. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve. FUNDING: Special taxes or assessments.
