DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Jon R. Jacobson and Eileen N. Wiseman, Trustees of the Jon R. Jacobson and Eileen N. Wiseman Joint Living Trust dated May 12, 1997, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 110-611-008, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the rear 10-foot Public Utility easement encumbering said property. The easement to be abandoned is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Public Utility easement, as shown on Lot 8 of Marina Hill Amended Map, recorded in Book H of Subdivisions at Page 110, was offered to the County of El Dorado by Marina Hills, a California Limited Partnership, on December 7th, 1995. The easement was acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on January 23rd, 1996, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on January 23rd, 1996.

AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District, and Pacific Gas and Electric have not used said portions of subject easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for said portions of subject easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
