Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no fiscal impact related to this action. However, future road maintenance cost will affect the Department's budget.
Reason for Recommendation: An update of the Department of Transportation's County Maintained Mileage System is submitted to the State of California each year, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, Section 941. This year's update contains minor corrections and deletions. No new roads were accepted into the system this year.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Department will 1) update the El Dorado County Maintained Mileage System; and 2) submit Resolution to Caltrans for Mileage Certification and Map Revisions.
