On February 23, 2026, the Clerk of the Board posted a Notice of Vacancy. On March 16, 2026, the Clerk of the Board received formal notification from staff representing the El Dorado County Early Care and Education Planning Council. The notification stated that, following a review and approval process, the Council voted to recommend the appointment of Jennifer Tommasini to serve as a Child Care and Development Provider Representative. This recommendation reflects the Council’s commitment to ensuring broad and diverse representation from community-based organizations involved in early care and education. Jennifer Tommasini’s appointment is intended to support the Council’s mission of promoting high-quality, accessible early childhood programs throughout El Dorado County.
